Building leaders by bringing people together.
Baala is a social organisation advancing menstrual and reproductive health through community engagement, capacity building, research, and advocacy. For over a decade, we have designed and facilitated conversations that help people navigate complex topics with confidence, empathy, and participation.
From village communities and government institutions to classrooms, conferences, and international platforms, our work has centred on one belief: meaningful change begins with meaningful conversations.
Over the years, we've facilitated thousands of workshops, trainings, leadership journeys, research dialogues, and cross-sector convenings—learning firsthand what it takes to create spaces where people listen, contribute, and act together.
Today, our programmes have reached over 1.5 million women and girls across 27 states, delivered through 12,000+ learning sessions, having trained over 2,000 development sector professionals.

The CARE Framework
At the heart of the leadership course is Baala's CARE Framework—a practical approach to facilitation that helps leaders create inclusive, engaging, and action-oriented learning experiences.
C — Connect
Build trust before delivering content. Create relationships that encourage openness, participation, and collaboration.
A — Anchor
Ground every conversation in empathy, inclusion, dignity, and purpose so participants feel safe to contribute.
R — Reflect
Develop the habit of observing, questioning, and continuously improving your facilitation practice through feedback and self-awareness.
E — Enable
Move beyond sharing knowledge. Design experiences that help people think critically, participate actively, and take ownership of change.
